If the international application is submitted in accordance with and in compliance with the provisions of the administrative regulations, the standard for reducing the total amount of fees is:

1. If submitting an international application electronically, the international application fee will be reduced:

a. If an international application is submitted electronically and meets the requirements of Part 7 and Appendix F of the administrative regulations, but the specification, claims, and abstract submitted electronically do not use character code format, a fee of 200 Swiss francs or equivalent in RMB may be reduced;

b. If the instruction manual, claims, and abstract submitted electronically are in character code format, an equivalent fee of 300 Swiss francs in RMB can be reduced.

Please submit the reduced fee amount electronically according to the new fee standard published in the important notice of PCT column.

2. If the international application is submitted by the following applicants, the international application fee (reduced by 1 if applicable), supplementary search handling fee, and handling fee will be reduced by 90%:

If the applicant is a natural person and is a national and resident of a country listed by the International Bureau that meets the following conditions, that is, the per capita GDP of the country is less than 25000 dollars (according to the average per capita GDP figures for the past ten years calculated in constant dollars in 2005 published by the United Nations), and according to the average annual application figures for the past five years published by the International Bureau, the country is a national of a natural person and the international applications submitted by residents are less than 10 per million people per year, or less than 50 per year in absolute terms; It has been clarified that the 90% fee waiver only applies to individuals who file PCT applications based on their own rights, and does not apply to those who file PCT applications on behalf of other individuals or organizations that are not entitled to the fee waiver (such as directors or employees of a company whose application is submitted for the benefit of the company).
