When the applicant submits a PCT application, there are three payment methods available: online payment, bank transfer to the patent office's bank account, and patent payment.

It should be noted that when paying the international phase fee for PCT applications, postal remittance is not accepted.

2. Payment Currency and Standards:

All fees should be paid in Chinese yuan. According to the Memorandum of Understanding on the Remittance of Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) Fees signed between the China National Intellectual Property Administration and the World Intellectual Property Organization, the China National Intellectual Property Administration collects fees for the international phase of PCT application on behalf of the International Bureau of the World Intellectual Property Organization according to the RMB standard published by the World Intellectual Property Organization. The charging standard will be listed on the PCT column website of the China National Intellectual Property Administration（ https://www.cnipa.gov.cn/col/col45/index.html ）Announced.

3. Online payment method:

The payer can log in to the patent business processing system and enter the online payment page of the patent payment service module to pay the patent and integrated circuit layout design fees. The payer can choose WeChat, Alipay, bank card or public account payment. The payment date for online payment is determined based on the actual payment time feedback received by the online payment system from the payment platform. The online payment method is convenient and fast, with complete and accurate payment information. It is recommended that payers use this payment method for payment.

4. Bank remittance method:

The payer can pay the patent fee through bank remittance. When remitting patent fees through a bank, the correct application number (or patent number) and fee name (or abbreviation) should be indicated in the remarks column of the remittance form. If the payer remits through a bank and does not indicate the necessary information mentioned above at the time of remittance, they can supplement the payment information no later than the day after the remittance. To supplement the payment information, they need to log in to the patent business processing system and enter the electronic payment list page of the patent payment service module to submit the electronic payment list; For those who provide complete payment information, the payment date shall be deemed as the date of providing complete payment information.

5. Patent situation communication method:

The applicant can pay the fees at the charging window of the acceptance hall of the Patent Office of the China National Intellectual Property Administration. When making payment, it is necessary to fill in the payment list and indicate the international application number. For those who pay in person, the payment date shall be deemed as the payment date.

6. For the change of PCT's application for international phase charge information, the information published on the website of the China National Intellectual Property Administration's PCT column shall prevail.
