Patent Prosecution Highway (PPH)

The Patent Examination Highway (PPH) is a business cooperation between patent examination agencies to share examination results. When at least one or more claims contained in a patent application submitted by the Office of First Instance (OEE) are determined to be patentable, the applicant can use this as a basis to submit an accelerated examination request to the corresponding application submitted by the Office of Second Instance (OLE).
