It should be noted that Qatar's trademark law does not provide comprehensive protection for claims using "all goods included in classes 1, 4 to 7, 10 to 14, 16 to 22, 29, and 31".
In addition, due to the belief of the Qatari people in Islam, alcoholic products in categories 32 and 33, as well as pork products in category 29, are prohibited from being registered in the Qatari state.
Qatar has joined international or regional treaties such as the Bern Convention and the Gulf Cooperation Council Patent Law Treaty, but is currently not a member of Madrid. Therefore, registering trademarks in Qatar can only be done through the "single country registration" application method.
Trademarks can be renewed within 12 months before the expiration of their validity period, with a grace period of 6 months. However, the renewal fee may also increase during the grace period.
If a trademark is not used within 5 years after registration, an application for revocation may be filed.

4. Submit a trademark agency power of attorney for entrusted agents;
5. Copy of the applicant's ID card or passport (scanned copy);
If you have already applied for a trademark in China, you need to provide a "Trademark Agency Authorization Letter" (to be handled by an authorized agency);
7. If entrusted to an agency for handling, one original power of attorney and one copy of the applicant's business license should be provided. (Only a copy of the business license of the enterprise is required. If it is an individual application, a copy of the applicant's ID card is required.).
After the applicant submits the trademark registration application to the Qatar Trademark Office, the acceptance notice will be issued within about one month.
The examiner of the Qatar Trademark Office conducted a preliminary and comprehensive examination of the registration application within about six months. The examiner may issue an official notification document requesting modifications. If there are no issues with the review, an announcement will be issued.
Within 4 months from the date of publication, anyone may raise an objection to the published trademark. If no objection is raised, the Qatar Trademark Office will issue a registration certificate after the applicant has paid the fee.
