1. Application documents: Thai version of the Five Books (including the specification, claims, accompanying drawings, abstract, and accompanying drawings);
2. Application information: Name, address, and postal code of the applicant and inventor, country of application, contact person, etc;

Each applicant is required to submit a complete patent application to the patent authority. And ensure that all necessary documents and materials are complete and comply with legal requirements, otherwise they may be returned.
After receiving the application, DIP (Patent and Trademark Office) will conduct a preliminary examination of the invention patent application. This step mainly checks the completeness, compliance, and legality of the application documents, evaluates whether the application complies with the principles of public order, social morality, and singularity, and whether it falls within the scope of patent law protection. The examiner has the right to request the applicant to state their opinions or submit supplementary materials within a 90 day period. If the applicant fails to complete the amendment within the prescribed deadline, the invention patent application will be deemed abandoned unless there are justifiable reasons and an extension decision is obtained from DIP.
Once the invention patent application passes the initial review, the applicant must pay the publication fee within 60 days. After paying the fee, the invention patent application will be made public for public inspection within 2-4 months.
Within 90 days after the publication of the invention patent application, relevant parties have the right to raise objections. If no objection is raised during the objection period, DIP will conduct further search and substantive examination of the invention patent application. If there are objections, they will be reviewed to confirm their validity. It is worth noting that even after an invention patent is granted, any person or prosecutor with an interest in the patent still has the right to appeal to the court to request the revocation of the patent right.
The deadline for requesting substantive examination of an invention patent application is 5 years from the date of publication. Only the applicant of the invention patent application has the right to request substantive examination. If no substantive examination request is made within the deadline, the invention patent application will be deemed withdrawn. During the substantive examination stage, DIP will evaluate whether the invention patent application meets the conditions for patent authorization and issue an examination opinion.
If the examiner does not find any problems in the patent or product design patent during the examination process, the applicant will be notified to pay the application fee. After the payment of the fees, the patent authority will officially grant the patent registration certificate, confirming the applicant's patent rights.

1. Application information: Please provide the full name, nationality, and address of the organization and designer;
2. Appearance design pictures or photos: The applicant shall submit a three-dimensional view (unfolded view) and a six sided view (i.e. front view, rear view, left view, right view, top view, and bottom view), and the size ratio of the seven sided view must be consistent
3. Briefly introduce the design and claims;
4. If priority is required, the acceptance notice of the prior application and the proof of priority of the prior application must also be provided;
5. Signed and notarized authorization letter
After the applicant submits the patent application and related materials, the official will conduct a preliminary inspection before publication to verify whether the application is correct and clear. In this program, the official can modify the application requirements. If there are no other issues with this application, the official will instruct payment of the relevant fees within 60 days and make a 90 day announcement.
If the publication procedure is completed and no objections are raised during this period, the official will continue to search for relevant existing designs in the design application, and conduct substantive examination of the novelty and industrial or handicraft practicality of the design. After the substantive examination procedure, if the examiner deems that the authorization conditions are met, the patent right will be granted and a certificate will be issued.
